qualites need in girl life partner

 I've been happily married for 16 years now, but what I was looking for when I was dating was someone who's empathetic, kind, believes in equality (my husband would say there's no "men's work" or "women's work" just stuff that needs to get done), has some shared hobby interests in common with me, and I dunno how to put it... but not boring basically. 

I wanted somebody with interesting hobbies, who was creative - not necessarily having to be creative in the same areas that I am, but creative at something at least. I don't really have a physical "type" I've only dated three guys in my whole life and and they all look very different from each other. 

What got me the most interested in my husband and made me reach out to him on okCupid was he had pictures on his dating profile where he was wearing some very complicated historic Asian style armor that he'd made himself from hardened linen and paper. So I guess that kind of creativity was something 

I was looking for, as well as a willingness to support my music and other creative hobbies. What told me this was going to be a long term thing with my husband is when we first met up in person at one of my music gigs, and after the gig was over and I'd packed up my instruments he just matter of factly picks them up and gets ready to take them out to my car for me. 

Not in an oh look at me I'm so chivalrous m'lady annoying kind of way, but just a matter of fact ok where's your car kind of thing, like he felt like supporting my in this way was perfectly normal and should be expected performances. my other website -
