Get COD Points in Call of Duty Mobile
Okay so. I’ve been playing COD Mobile since like... Season 3? Back when everyone was running around with that OG Ghost - Stealth skin and the Rus-79u was actually broken. I’m not a pro, I’m not a content creator, I’m just a dude who plays ranked at 11pm after my wife goes to bed with my phone plugged in because the battery is at 8% and it’s literally burning my fingers.
And over the years I’ve developed a very serious, very scientific relationship with COD Points. My bank account hates me for it.
So if you’re trying to figure out how to get CP without getting scammed, without begging your mom, and maybe without actually spending $100 every season — this is everything I personally do. Real talk.
1. The Boring Adult Way: Just Buying Them (But Do It Right)
Yeah, I know. Obvious. But listen.
The in-game store is the safest place. 80 CP is $0.99, 400 CP is $4.99, 800 + 80 bonus is $9.99, etc. You know the prices. On iOS it’s always a little more expensive because Apple tax — I swear.
My pro tip: DON'T buy from inside the app on iPhone. I switched to buying through the official Codashop site (codashop.com). It’s legit, Activision partnered with them, and in my region it’s like 10-15% cheaper and they give you bonus CP sometimes. I just log in with my Player ID (it's in your profile, top corner), pay with PayPal, and the CP shows up in like 30 seconds. No sketchy login required.Call of Duty Mobile Free COD Points Guide
I found this out after I spent $20 on the Ghost skin in 2021 and my duo Jake roasted me for a WEEK because he got the same thing for $17. Still not over it.
2. The “Infinite CP Glitch” That Isn’t a Glitch: The Battle Pass Loop
This is the #1 thing I wish someone told me in year one.
Buy the Premium Battle Pass ONCE. It costs 560 CP.
If you actually grind it out to Tier 50 (which, let’s be honest, happens naturally if you play like 3-4 games a day), you get ALL 560 CP BACK. Plus a bunch more from the free track. So you’re literally at like 700+ CP at the end.CoD Mobile Free COD Points
I bought my first pass in Season 7. I have not spent actual money on a Battle Pass since. It’s been three years. I just roll the CP over every single season.
It’s the best investment in the game, period. You get two epic operators, a legendary-ish gun blueprint, and you basically unlock a free pass for next month. If you’re broke, save up surveys or birthday money for ONE pass and you’re set forever.
3. The Broke Gamer Method: Google Opinion Rewards
This is my personal fun anecdote and I’m slightly embarrassed.
I have made, no joke, over $140 in Google Play credit just answering dumb surveys while I’m... on the toilet. It’s an app called Google Opinion Rewards. It pops up and asks “Did you recently visit Walmart?” “Which logo looks better?” Takes 10 seconds, gives you $0.10 to $1.00.
I let it stack for like 2-3 months and then boom — free 800 CP for the new Mythic. Took me almost 4 months to grind for the Mythic FFAR last year, but it felt SO much better because I didn’t actually pay for it. My wife thinks I’m doing “market research.” I am not correcting her.
If you’re on iPhone, use Microsoft Rewards. You just do Bing searches (I set it as my default, I hate it but whatever) and you get points for Xbox/Apple gift cards. It’s slower but it works.
4. Gift Cards Are Cheat Codes For Birthdays
Real gamer life hack: Stop asking for socks. For Christmas, birthday, Father’s Day — I just tell my family “$10 Google Play or Apple card.”
My mom puts it in a card with $10 and writes “for your shooting game.” Love her. Stack 3-4 of those and you’re getting a legendary draw spin without touching your debit card. Plus you avoid that “APPLE.COM/BILL $19.99” text that makes your partner ask questions.
5. Free CP From Events & Tournaments (It’s Rare, But It Happens)
Activision DOES give away CP sometimes, you just have to pay attention.
Ranked Series / World Championship: Watch the streams on YouTube and link your account. Last year I got 100 CP total just for having it on in the background while I did dishes.
Community Events / Clan Wars: Top clans sometimes get CP vouchers. My clan is trash so we’ve never won, but my friend’s sweaty clan got 200 CP each once.
Giveaways: Only follow actual creators. If you see a random TikTok with “comment your UID for 10k CP!!!” — it’s a scam. I fell for one in 2020, typed in my login on some fake site, and had to change my password at 2am while panicking. Don’t be me.
TL;DR for my fellow goldfish-brains:
Want CP fast? Buy it through Codashop or the store.
Want CP forever? Buy ONE Battle Pass (560 CP) and never miss a tier.
Want CP for free? Download Google Opinion Rewards and be patient.
Want to keep your account? Avoid generators like the plague.
I’m currently sitting at 124 CP waiting for next season because I blew 2,000 on the Mythic Kilo spin last week and DIDN’T get it until spin 9. My phone overheated. My dog judged me. Worth it? ...maybe.
How do you guys fund your CP addiction? Are you a grinder or a whale? Let me know — I need to feel less alone in my poor financial decisions.
See you in ranked. I’ll be the guy with the pretty skin and terrible aim.
