Plus, the sensory details really make you feel like you're in the cool autumn air smelling woodsmoke and fresh cinnamon rolls.

What stood out was the authentic portrayal of healing from divorce, parenting challenges, and creating a chosen family when the old ones change or disappear. Michelle’s journey isn't about a grand adventure but about quietly finding a new purpose and belonging.
