Planet Clicker

Planet Clicker, originally developed on the Scratch platform by Coltroc, is a space-themed clicker game where players generate energy to upgrade production and unlock new planets. The game’s premise is straightforward: click to produce energy, use that energy to purchase upgrades, and eventually colonize other planets with unique resources and technologies. Each planet offers distinct upgrades, such as solar power, nuclear energy, or even alien technology, which boost your energy output. The game’s idle mechanics allow energy to accumulate even when you’re not actively playing, provided you keep the game tab open. Its intuitive controls and relaxing gameplay make it accessible to players of all ages, while its strategic depth keeps you hooked as you aim to build a galactic empire.

Core Gameplay Mechanics

The objective is to amass energy to purchase upgrades and unlock new planets. Here’s how it works:

+ Generate Energy: Click or tap on the planet to produce energy. Early in the game, rapid clicking is the fastest way to accumulate points.

+ Purchase Upgrades: Access the shop (usually labeled “Shop” or indicated by a button) to spend energy on upgrades. Upgrades fall into two categories:

+ Click Multipliers: Increase the energy generated per click (e.g., upgrading from 1 to 2 energy per click).

+ Automatic Production: Unlock structures like farms or power plants that generate energy passively over time.

+ Unlock Planets: Once you’ve gathered enough energy (e.g., thousands for Mars, 1 trillion for Venus), you can unlock new planets. Use the arrow buttons at the bottom of the screen to switch between them. Each planet introduces unique upgrades, such as nuclear energy on Mars or lava technology on Venus.

+ Idle Progression: Keep the game tab open, as energy continues to accumulate even when you’re not clicking, thanks to automatic upgrades.
